Our Mission Statement
“Environova is committed to sound planning principles that contribute
to quality communities for its citizens and to the preservation and enhancement
of their living environment”.
Stan Kochanoff of Falmouth, NS and John Morley of Truro, NS originally
established Environova Planning Group Inc. under the name of “Horticultural
& Recreational Consultants Ltd.” in 1973. Since its beginning,
the company has been involved with providing landscape architectural services,
recreation planning and arboricultural consulting services throughout
the Maritime Provinces. The firm also provides consulting and landscape
design services to MARITIME LANDSCAPE
SERVICES LIMITED, an associated full service landscape company.
In 1994, the firm widened its range of expertise
to accommodate a variety of Urban and Rural planning projects.

Stan completed his two year term as president of the ISA-Atlantic Chapter of the International Society of Arboriculture and recently returned from Chicago where he delivered a paper “Planning a New Approach for Street Tree Planting” at the ISA international world tree conference. |

Peggy Kochanoff’s fourth book; “You Can Be A Nature Detective” published by Mountain Press is being reprinted and a sequel to the book will be published soon. |
